I have successfully completed the “Basic Statistics” training module of the Data Analysis School, organised under the auspices of the Council of Higher Education and coordinated by the Marmara University Institute of Population and Social Research, in collaboration with Boğaziçi University, Middle East Technical University, and Istanbul Technical University. During this comprehensive 7-month synchronous online programme that began in October 2025, I initially completed foundational coursework in data analysis, statistics, and coding. Subsequently, I specialised in “Basic Statistics”, utilising tools such as MS Excel, IBM SPSS, and R Studio (R Programming Language) to bridge theoretical statistical concepts with applied data analysis. This experience has significantly reinforced my data-driven analytical thinking and digital research competencies in the social sciences.
